Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will launch a three-month Russian language course in collaboration with Russia’s Ministry of Education. The program aims to enhance language skills and support higher education opportunities in Russia and Central Asia.
The course is offered through AIOU’s Russian Open Education Center in Islamabad, reflecting growing educational collaborations between Pakistan and Russia. The program targets students and professionals seeking language proficiency for academic or professional advancement.
Face-to-face classes will be held three days a week, three hours per session, led by a qualified Russian instructor. Continuous assessments and a final exam will be conducted, and successful candidates will receive an official certificate to support applications for Master’s and PhD scholarships.
AIOU noted,
“Participants must manage accommodation, travel, and refreshments independently; the course fee is Rs. 5,000.”
