PESHAWAR: Barrister Saif, the information adviser for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government, recently announced a new life insurance system designed to help residents plan for their future. This program aims to provide financial support to underprivileged and marginalized communities in KP and follows the adoption of the universal health care policy. Financial assistance program for families facing loss With nearly half of the population living in poverty, this welfare program is designed to alleviate financial hardships for the poor and marginalized communities. The program aims to reduce the financial burden that can occur when a family loses its main earner. If a family member aged 60 or older passes away, the scheme will provide financial assistance of Rs. 500,000 to the family. If a family member under 60 dies, the program will offer Rs. 1 million in support. KP Government takes major steps in building a Welfare State This program shows that the government is dedicated to helping its people out during tough times. Even though the loss of life can't be fixed, giving money to a family in need can be very important in keeping them alive. In addition, the KP government is thinking about starting an insurance company at the provincial level. This would make it even easier for people to get protection.
