The Housing Department has further simplified the registration process for the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar program, making it easier than ever for citizens to apply. So far, 30600 houses have been completed, while more than 1 lakh families have received financial support to build their own homes.
For ongoing schemes, the government has also issued the second installment to 69,200 families to ensure that construction continues without delays. According to a department spokesperson, the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar program offers major advantages, including a 20 percent discount for families who repay their loans within one to three years, and a 10 percent discount for those who clear dues within four to six years.
These benefits are designed to promote timely repayment and help more households move toward home ownership. To add further convenience, applicants can now complete their registration online from home, making the procedure quicker, simpler and fully transparent.
The Housing Department reaffirmed its commitment to providing financial support, secure housing and opportunities for families to achieve their dream of owning a home through modern and citizen-friendly initiatives. Complete details of the scheme are available on the official website.
