Atlas Honda has launched a nationwide exchange programme that lets CD 70 owners trade in their old motorcycle and pay only the difference toward a new one, offering an easier upgrade path for riders facing rising repair costs and declining performance from ageing bikes.
Under the scheme, customers can bring their used CD 70 to a participating authorised 3S Atlas Honda dealership, where technicians inspect the engine, frame and overall condition to determine a trade-in value.
This amount is then deducted from the price of a new Honda CD 70, currently priced at Rs159,900, with the customer paying only the remaining balance.
Atlas Honda has not set a fixed exchange rate for used motorcycles. Instead, the trade-in value depends on the model year, mechanical condition and physical state of the bike, meaning two CD 70 units of different ages could receive very different valuations.
The programme is aimed primarily at owners of older CD 70 units who face frequent workshop visits and mounting maintenance expenses. By converting their existing motorcycle into upfront credit, these customers can move to a new bike without paying the full price at once.
The exchange facility is available nationwide through participating Atlas Honda dealerships, where interested customers can get their motorcycles evaluated and learn the exact amount they would need to pay for the upgrade.
