Beaconhouse Golden Jubilee Highlights Vision to Redefine Pakistan’s Education System

Beaconhouse Group celebrated its 50th anniversary in Islamabad, marking five decades of redefining private education in Pakistan. The event, titled “Rethinking Education: 50th Anniversary Edition,” brought together national leaders, educators, and policymakers to reflect on the institution’s journey from a small school in 1975 to one of the world’s largest private school networks, educating nearly 400,000 students across six countries.

Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani praised Beaconhouse for making quality education accessible to all segments of society through its institutions, including The Educators, United Charter Schools, and Beaconhouse National University. He also commended the Mahmud Ali Kasuri Welfare Trust for its social impact and humanitarian work.

Gilani lauded founder Mrs. Nasreen Mahmud Kasuri for her leadership in professionalizing the teaching sector and empowering thousands of women.

“From 19 children to a global network, Beaconhouse’s story is one of vision, perseverance, and national contribution,” he said.

Highlighting Beaconhouse’s social mission, Mrs. Kasuri shared that 19,000 students currently study on scholarships, reflecting the group’s commitment to inclusivity. She emphasized that the school system’s growth has also uplifted women by transforming housewives into professional educators, setting an example for other private institutions.

CEO Kasim Kasuri noted that Beaconhouse’s next phase, Vision 2050, aims to reimagine education for future generations, focusing on innovation, inclusion, and lifelong learning.
