Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has received a fresh update on November 18, just days after launch. The patch is out now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. It offers bug fixes and performance improvements across Co-Op Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies. It does not add new content. Instead, it focuses on stability as players prepare for upcoming updates.
However, fans won’t have to wait long for something new. A major free update arrives tomorrow, November 20, bringing back the iconic Nuketown map.
Players eager for more content can look forward to the return of Nuketown. Treyarch is releasing a remastered version of Nuketown 2025, the Black Ops 2 classic. Since Black Ops 7 directly continues the story of 2012’s Black Ops 2, this version fits naturally into the game.
Nuketown will join the existing lineup of Black Ops 2 maps already in Black Ops 7. These include Raid, Hijacked, and Express. Season 1 will expand this list even further with Standoff and Meltdown. Moreover, the first season will introduce four brand-new Multiplayer maps. Treyarch has not announced a release date for Season 1 yet.
Although small, the new update brings important improvements to all core modes.
Multiplayer Fixes:
Treyarch resolved an issue in the Dark Ops challenges. The ‘Trip Cap’ challenge was unlocking earlier than intended. The patch corrects this. The update also includes multiple crash and stability improvements for smoother matches.
Zombies Fixes:
Zombies players receive several gameplay and stability fixes.
Additional crash and stability fixes are included.
The update fixes a bug where some events lost progress if players left the activity area. Treyarch also resolved a problem that caused some players to get stuck on a persistent black screen when loading into Endgame. More stability upgrades round out the patch.
Treyarch says players can expect more improvements when Season 1 launches. While the date is still unconfirmed, the upcoming season will bring new maps, more Black Ops 2 remasters, and further stability updates.
For now, the November 18 patch ensures smoother gameplay as players dive into Call of Duty: Black Ops 7’s Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies modes ahead of tomorrow’s Nuketown update.
