Canva has rolled out deeper integration with ChatGPT, allowing users to generate designs that automatically align with their brand identity. The update enables users to create branded materials such as pitch decks, presentations, and social media visuals directly through ChatGPT.
The new integration is designed to minimize manual editing after AI-generated designs are created, ensuring that brand elements such as logos, colors, and fonts are applied correctly from the outset.
A key feature of the update is Canva’s Brand Kit, which stores official brand assets including logos, font styles, and color palettes. Once a Brand Kit is set up, ChatGPT can use this information to generate visuals that follow predefined branding guidelines automatically.
This approach reduces the need for users to manually adjust visual elements, particularly for those unfamiliar with detailed brand specifications.
Canva has also introduced additional tools to simplify the design workflow within ChatGPT. The Guided Presentation Builder allows users to focus on structuring content before converting it into fully formatted presentation slides.
Another feature, Live Design Preview, enables users to view and edit Canva designs directly inside ChatGPT, removing the need to switch between platforms during the design process. These tools are powered by Canva AI and are now available through Canva’s AI hub.
According to Canva, its AI-powered tools have already been used to create more than 12 million designs across platforms including ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
The update follows a similar rollout for Anthropic’s Claude, which recently added interactive app support to expand its workplace functionality.
With this integration, users can move from a written idea in ChatGPT to a completed, brand-compliant design in fewer steps, streamlining content creation for businesses and individuals alike.
