The Pakistan Super League (PSL) unveiled its 11th season trophy, named ‘Infinity,’ at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, marking the start of a grand cricketing celebration.
Following the unveiling, PSL CEO and franchise owners sat together on the stadium floor, enjoying a soulful qawwali performance that filled the venue with melodic rhythms and cultural charm.
The qawwali night blended cricket and music perfectly, with performers creating an atmosphere of harmony and celebration while reflecting Pakistan’s rich musical heritage.
The PSL 11 trophy features a tall, sleek golden body rising from a round base, with vertical crystal patterns designed to glitter beautifully under stadium lights.
Two curved golden arms rise from the trophy’s sides and meet near the top, framing a crescent and star inspired by Pakistan’s national flag, symbolizing the league’s prestige and national pride.
The crescent is encrusted with crystals, while a polished metallic star sits slightly above, creating a striking crown that honours Pakistan and highlights the significance of the PSL championship title.
The gold-plated base rests on a black cylindrical pedestal displaying official PSL branding, with 18 artisans devoting 2,600 hours to craft the intricate trophy for the 11th edition of the league.
PSL 11 will feature eight teams, including new entrants Hyderabad Kingsmen and Pindiz, competing across 44 matches from March 26 to May 3, starting with Lahore Qalandars facing Hyderabad Kingsmen.
Each team will play 10 matches in the league stage, with the top four qualifying for playoffs, consisting of Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2, and the final at Gaddafi Stadium on May 3.
