Changan is reportedly preparing to introduce the AVATR 11, a cutting-edge electric compact SUV, to the Pakistani market. AVATR is a premium EV sub-brand created through a joint venture between Changan, Huawei, and CATL.
The AVATR 11 marks the brand’s debut and is equipped with an estimated 116.79 kWh battery pack. This capacity provides a WLTP range of around 668 kilometers, enough for a one-way drive from Lahore to Islamabad on a single charge.
Performance varies between models. The base version delivers 317 horsepower and 396 Nm of torque, while the dual-motor variant boosts output to 539 horsepower and 687 Nm of torque.
Huawei’s technology plays a central role in the vehicle. The AVATR 11 operates on HarmonyOS and uses the DriveONE iTRACK 800-volt EV platform. It also features Huawei’s Level 3 ADAS suite, including 12 laser radars, 5G support, and advanced sensors.
By combining long-range capability with sophisticated software and hardware, the AVATR 11 positions itself as a technologically advanced option. If Changan launches it locally, it could become one of Pakistan’s most feature-rich electric SUVs. Official pricing has not been announced, but industry analysts expect it to enter the higher end of Pakistan’s EV market.
