Punjab is set for a four-day-long weekend as the provincial government announces consecutive public holidays. Residents will have a chance to enjoy a break, celebrate, and spend time with family and friends.
February 5 will remain a public holiday for Kashmir Day, while February 6 has been declared a provincial holiday for Basant. These two days, combined with Saturday and Sunday, create an extended weekend across Punjab.

The announcement has sparked excitement across the province. Many are planning outings, kite flying where allowed, and short trips to fully enjoy the long weekend.
