The Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) has announced 75 fully-funded scholarships for Pakistani students for the 2026–27 academic year, aimed at strengthening educational collaboration between China and Pakistan. The Higher Education Commission (HEC) will handle the nomination and shortlisting process.
The program covers BS, MS, and PhD degrees across multiple disciplines, with tuition fees, accommodation, and a monthly stipend fully funded by the Chinese government. A one-year Chinese language course is also included for selected students.
Applicants must apply through both the HEC and CSC portals, with the deadline set for January 5, 2026.
Eligible candidates include Pakistani or AJK nationals meeting academic and age criteria under 25 for BS, 35 for MS, and 40 for PhD.
An HEC official stated,
“This scholarship program offers young Pakistanis a global platform to pursue advanced education and research in world-class Chinese universities.”
The initiative is part of Beijing’s ongoing efforts to expand its educational outreach under the China-Pakistan Educational Exchange Framework.
