Capital Smart Motors has officially brought the Zeekr 009 electric luxury MPV to Pakistan, positioning it among the country’s most expensive EVs with an estimated price tag between PKR 3.7-4 crore. The launch marks a bold step into the high-end EV segment, where only a few global names currently hold a dominant position.
The Zeekr 009 blends advanced technology with premium comfort, setting a new benchmark for electric MPVs in Pakistan. A massive glass roof, ambient lighting, and Yamaha speakers define the luxury experience, particularly for passengers seated in the rear.
The second row highlights the vehicle’s focus on comfort. Nappa leather seats feature headrest speakers, along with heating, ventilation, massage, and zero-gravity recline. The third row is far from an afterthought, offering reclining seats, leather armrests, and oscillating vents, creating an unusually spacious and comfortable cabin.
The driver’s area is equally refined, with a moonroof, Alcantara headliner, massaging seats, and an ambient-lit dashboard. To complement this, wireless charging, layered storage, and a digital cluster elevate the driving experience to luxury standards.
Performance is another area where the Zeekr 009 delivers. Its fast-charging system takes the battery from 10 to 80 percent in just 12 minutes. On a full charge, the MPV offers a range of up to 686 kilometers while producing 536 horsepower. With both a large rear cargo area and an additional front trunk, the EV balances practicality with power.
However, its arrival raises an important question: is Pakistan ready for ultra-luxury electric vehicles? While the Zeekr 009 competes directly with long-established luxury players such as Lexus and Mercedes-Benz, the country’s charging infrastructure still has a long way to go.
For now, the Zeekr 009 is primarily aimed at high-net-worth buyers, but its success will also depend on how quickly Pakistan adapts to the growing demand for electric mobility.
