The Punjab government has announced an extension to the Chief Minister Punjab Laptop scheme, giving students extra time to submit their applications. Initially, the program focused on public university students, but last year it was expanded to include private university students as well. Under the updated criteria, students enrolled in private universities with at least 65% marks are eligible to receive a free laptop, which is provided based on academic performance.
