The Digital Youth Hub (DYH), part of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), has now registered over 712,000 users nationwide since its launch on March 26, 2025. The platform, developed in partnership with UNICEF and powered by the National Information Technology Board (NITB), connects youth with education, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities through a single digital portal.
Using advanced artificial intelligence, DYH links users to more than 93,000 domestic jobs and 100,000 international listings, providing personalized dashboards for students, employers, and scholarship donors.
“This centralized platform ensures fair access to opportunities across Pakistan, empowering youth to achieve their potential,” said a PMYP official.
Launched under the 4Es framework Education, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Engagement & Environment the hub offers scholarships, online courses, internships, verified jobs, and business financing ranging from Rs. 0.5 million to Rs. 7.5 million. It also promotes volunteering, sports, and environmental initiatives such as the Green Youth Movement.
With around 170 million people under the age of 30, youth constitute 70% of Pakistan’s population, highlighting the critical role of DYH in expanding merit-based opportunities. Since its inception in 2013, the PMYP has supported over 1.5 million young Pakistanis, and the Digital Youth Hub now serves as a modern, AI-driven centralized platform for nationwide engagement.
The NITB also oversees automation for other youth programs, including the Prime Minister’s Youth Business and Agriculture Loan Scheme and the National Jobs Portal, ensuring seamless tracking of applications and progress for all registered users.
The Prime Minister’s Youth Programme was launched in 2013 to empower Pakistani youth through education, skills development, and entrepreneurship. The Digital Youth Hub represents its latest digital evolution, leveraging AI technology to streamline access to opportunities and expand transparency in government-backed youth programs.
