Dongfeng Vigo EV SUV Officially Launched in Pakistan

Chawla Green Motors has officially launched the Dongfeng Vigo EV in Pakistan, marking a significant step in the country’s transition toward electric mobility. The all-electric compact SUV is now available in two variants E1 priced at Rs. 6,999,000 and E2 at Rs. 7,499,999, with a booking fee of Rs. 1,200,000 for both.

The Vigo EV is powered by a 161-horsepower electric motor producing 230 Nm of torque and runs on a 45 kWh battery, delivering a claimed WLTP range of 353 kilometers. It supports 60 kW DC fast charging and 6.6 kW AC charging, making it practical for both city and highway driving.

According to Chawla Green Motors, the vehicle will be displayed for the public at Packages Mall from February 16 to 18, with deliveries starting from the second week of February, subject to booking confirmation.

The compact SUV features modern design elements and advanced technology, including 17-inch alloy wheels, a 12.8-inch central touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, Level 2 ADAS, six airbags, and a 540-degree camera system for enhanced safety. The front wheel drive SUV measures 4,306 mm in length, 1,868 mm in width, 1,654 mm in height, with a 2,715 mm wheelbase, making it well-suited for urban roads.

“The Dongfeng Vigo EV is designed to offer a reliable, eco-friendly, and comfortable driving experience for Pakistani families and urban commuters,” said a spokesperson from Chawla Green Motors. “With its advanced features and competitive pricing, it is among the most affordable electric SUVs in the local market.”

This launch reflects Pakistan’s growing adoption of electric vehicles as the country moves toward sustainable mobility solutions. The Vigo EV is expected to compete with other upcoming EVs in the market, attracting customers looking for an eco-friendly alternative without compromising on performance or features.
