Dubai has officially expanded its Golden Visa program to include exceptional educators working in private schools, nurseries, and higher education institutions, acknowledging their crucial role in shaping the emirate’s educational future. The initiative, announced on October 5, 2024, is part of Dubai’s wider strategy to attract and retain top teaching talent and strengthen its human capital development goals.
The Golden Visa a long-term residency permit will now be available to teachers, principals, academic heads, and education leaders who have demonstrated academic excellence, innovation, and positive community impact.
According to the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), this expansion is meant to “honour educators who go beyond teaching to inspire, innovate, and uplift learning standards across Dubai.”
