Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has confirmed that students across the province can now check their Grade 8 Assessment 2026 results online. The results are available through the official PECTAA portal, giving students a simple and unified way to access their scores.
According to the statement, students can visit the website pectaa.edu.pk to view their results starting from 3 PM. This online system allows students from all regions to access their results without any difficulty. As a result, it reduces the need for physical visits and makes the process faster for everyone involved.
The chief minister highlighted that this year’s assessment is a major milestone for the province. She described it as the first assessment in Punjab that is fully machine-marked and supported by advanced technology. Moreover, the system ensures that results are evaluated with greater accuracy and fairness.
She also shared that nearly one million students took part in the Grade 8 assessment. The overall pass rate has reached 88 percent, which reflects strong performance across the province. Additionally, boys recorded an 83 percent pass rate, while girls achieved an even higher rate of 92 percent.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz praised the efforts of students, teachers, and parents. She said their combined hard work has played a key role in achieving these results. At the same time, she stressed her government’s focus on fairness and transparency in the education system.
Furthermore, she reaffirmed her commitment to providing equal learning opportunities for all students. The use of a centralized online system, along with machine-based marking, supports this goal. In this way, the province aims to build a more reliable and student-friendly examination process.
