Additionally, Rs 800 million was approved for the Asan Khidmat Centre in Islamabad, a flagship initiative designed to provide citizen-focused public services efficiently.
On the revenue side, the Federal Board of Revenue proposed establishing Digital Enforcement Stations along the Indus, Hub, and Balochistan rivers. The ECC approved Rs 3 billion for the third quarter, with the remaining Rs 7 billion set for the fourth quarter.
Defence, Social Welfare, and Media Support
Defence projects received Rs 2 billion for the Sustainable Development Goals Achievement Programme in Punjab and Rs 5.081 billion for broader defence services, including infrastructure, cyber security, and community initiatives. The grants will be released in phases, with recurring expenditure included in next year’s defence budget.

In addition, Rs 700 million was approved for the Film and Drama Finance Fund under the 2018 National Film and Broadcasting Policy. The initiative aims to strengthen Pakistan’s media sector and support the country’s strategic narrative, with six-monthly reports required for transparent and competitive fund utilization.
