Engro Fertilizers Limited has announced the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer, Ali Rathore, through a formal notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Monday.
The company stated that Rathore will continue to perform his responsibilities until completion of his notice period in line with internal policy and governance requirements.
It added that the Board of Directors will appoint a new Chief Executive Officer in due course following the necessary process to ensure leadership continuity.
In its statement, the company expressed gratitude and appreciation for Rathore’s contributions and services during his tenure with the organisation.
A wholly owned subsidiary of Engro Corporation Limited, Engro Fertilizers confirmed the development through an official communication shared with shareholders and market participants.
Rathore joined Engro Corporation in 2022 and was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Engro Fertilizers in September 2023 based on his strategic and business expertise.
He has more than 26 years of international experience across the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and the Middle East and North Africa region.
His background includes financial planning and analysis, business development, operations, and mergers and acquisitions, and he is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a fellow Chartered Accountant.
