FIA Introduces Digital Attendance Notices with QR Verification
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has introduced a fully digital system for issuing attendance notices, aiming to curb the circulation of fake or forged documents.
Under the new process, all notices issued under Section 160 of the Code of Criminal Procedure will be generated electronically and include a unique QR code for instant verification. FIA officials have warned that manually signed notices are now invalid and should be treated as suspicious. Citizens are encouraged to report any such notices to [email protected].
This digital move enhances transparency, ensures authenticity, and strengthens public trust in FIA communications, marking a significant step in modernizing law enforcement procedures in Pakistan.
