Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) is likely to revise gas supply timings during Ramadan after the suspension of liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports, according to a report by Geo News.
Sources revealed that the company is considering restoring the same gas supply schedule that was implemented during Ramadan last year to ensure better availability during key meal preparation times.
Under the proposed plan, gas supply will be provided from 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm to facilitate Iftar preparations, while for Sehri, gas will be available from 3:00 am to 9:00 am. The schedule is expected to help households manage cooking requirements more efficiently during the holy month.
Officials familiar with the matter said the revised timetable aims to balance limited gas resources while ensuring supply during the most critical hours of Ramadan.
The sources added that the updated gas supply schedule is expected to be formally announced soon, after final approval by the relevant authorities.
