Google is making its AI tools more accessible in Gmail by offering some features for free. Previously, tools like AI Overviews, Smart Replies, and Help Me Write were limited to users with Google AI Plus or Ultra subscriptions. Now, anyone can use them without paying.
AI Inbox helps users manage their email by filtering clutter and providing quick highlights. It also summarizes long “Reply to All” threads, saving time and effort.
Help Me Write lets you create messages with simple prompts. You can even refine parts of the generated text to better fit your style. Suggested Replies, an upgrade to Smart Replies, offer context-aware suggestions that match your tone.
These features will first roll out in the US for English users. Over the coming months, Google plans to expand them to more regions and languages.
