Google Rolls Out Free One-Year AI Pro Plan for Students in Pakistan

Google has announced a major educational initiative in Pakistan, offering students aged 18 and above free access to its Google AI Pro Plan for one year. The move is part of the company’s broader mission to democratize artificial intelligence and empower learners with advanced digital tools.

Through the Gemini AI Pro Plan, students will be able to tap into Google’s most powerful features, including the Gemini 2.5 Pro model, which brings capabilities like Deep Research to assist with assignments, academic projects, and creative work.

The plan also integrates AI directly into widely used Google apps (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet) enabling users to quickly summarize emails, generate presentations, and analyze data with ease.

Another key highlight is NotebookLM, Google’s AI-powered research and writing tool. Students on the Pro Plan get five times more Audio Overviews, Notebooks, and extended functionality. Creative tools like Veo 3 in Gemini and Flow also let users turn text and images into dynamic videos with higher usage limits.

On top of AI-driven features, students will also benefit from 2TB of free Cloud Storage, giving them secure space across Google Drive, Gmail, and Photos to manage coursework and projects without storage concerns.

“This initiative is about equipping every student with the resources to learn, create, and innovate,” Google stated, highlighting its focus on advancing education in emerging markets like Pakistan.

The rollout is not exclusive to Pakistan: it spans several Asia-Pacific countries, but marks a significant step for Pakistani students who now have access to tools on par with global learners.

Eligible students can register online today and start using the Google AI Pro Plan free of charge for one year.
