The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced new fuel prices, resulting in a significant increase in diesel prices by Rs. 11.30 per liter. In contrast, the price of petrol has been maintained at Rs. 253.17 per liter, providing no change for motorists. Additionally, the price of domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has increased by Rs. 6.37, resulting in a new LPG cylinder price that is Rs. 75.21 more expensive.
According to details released in the official notification on Saturday, the updated price for high-speed diesel has been set at Rs. 268.38 per liter, effective immediately. The government has established these prices for the next 15 days, reflecting ongoing fluctuations in the energy market. Diesel users and LPG consumers are advised to prepare for these increased costs, as they may have broader implications for transportation and household budgets in the coming weeks.
