Pakistan is preparing to launch its first Pakistan Council of Digital Economy, a move aimed at boosting the nation’s digital business landscape. The council will provide a structured platform for private digital companies while enhancing coordination with government authorities.
The initiative is led by the Pakistan Digital Authority (PDA), part of the Ministry of Information Technology. The PDA has already consulted 40 leading digital firms to shape the council’s framework. Officials say the council will function like a chamber of commerce, creating a formal channel for dialogue between the government and private digital enterprises.
Council to Advise on Policies and Foster Collaboration
