Govt Announces Free AI Training Program, Sets Application Deadline
Pakistan has taken another step toward building a future-ready workforce as the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), in partnership with NETSOL Institute of AI, announced a free AI skills training program aimed at equipping youth with in-demand digital skills.
Launched under the Prime Minister’s Digital Pakistan Vision and the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, the initiative focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Cyber Security, preparing participants for modern technology-driven careers.
“This initiative will help create a new generation of digitally skilled professionals ready to compete globally,” officials said while highlighting the programme’s alignment with national economic goals.
Eligibility, Duration and Application Details
According to the programme details, the three-month training will be conducted in Lahore and is open to candidates aged 18 to 40 years. Applicants must have 16 years of education in fields such as IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, or Engineering, or be students who have completed their 7th or 8th semester.
Applications are open online, with the last date to apply set for January 10, 2026.
Officials say the NAVTTC-NETSOL initiative reflects the government’s broader push to strengthen Pakistan’s digital economy by providing free, industry aligned training and reducing barriers for youth seeking advanced technical skills.
