Govt Launches Free Courses for Overseas Pakistanis’ Children

The Government of Pakistan has launched a special initiative to provide three to six-month free professional training courses for the children of overseas Pakistanis, while adults are also eligible to join. The program is a joint effort of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) and the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) and will start enrolling students this month.
This initiative comes under the Prime Minister’s Special Program to help young Pakistanis gain modern and technical skills. With demand for digital expertise and skilled trades growing globally, the government aims to prepare citizens for both international and local job markets.

The government has set September 30, 2025, as the last date for applications, urging candidates to register early as seats are limited. Enrollment can be completed online through the official portal nsis.navttc.gov.pk.
Officials emphasized that the program is not only aimed at providing career opportunities abroad but also creating a skilled workforce within Pakistan. By focusing on both digital and vocational training, the project is expected to empower thousands of families connected with the overseas Pakistani community.
