The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MOFEPT), in collaboration with the Cisco Networking Academy, has launched a series of free online technology courses aimed at enhancing digital skills among students across Pakistan.
The initiative offers six self-paced online courses covering four major domains: cybersecurity, information technology, artificial intelligence, and networking. Participants can access course materials anytime and from anywhere, making the program accessible to students nationwide.
According to the official announcement, learners will receive online support from qualified instructors throughout the course duration. Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded a digital certificate featuring a QR code, along with a verified digital badge issued through Credly.
The program follows a progressive learning structure, allowing students to begin with entry-level modules and gradually advance to more specialized topics at their own pace. To be eligible, applicants must possess basic knowledge of IT or networking and must be enrolled in Grade 9 or above.
The courses being offered include Introduction to Cybersecurity, Introduction to Modern AI, Digital Safety and Security Awareness, Introduction to IoT and Digital Transformation, Networking Basics, and Industrial Networking Essentials. All courses include certification and a digital badge, and participants must score at least 60 percent to qualify. Failure to complete a course within the specified timeframe will result in automatic cancellation.
Interested candidates can apply by scanning the QR code provided in official materials or by visiting the MOFEPT skills portal. The deadline to apply and complete the courses is March 8, 2026.
