Govt Reduces Petroleum Prices in Pakistan Effective March 1, 2025

The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced new petroleum prices in Pakistan, effective from March 1, 2025. The latest adjustments reflect global oil market trends and aim to ensure regulated pricing for consumers.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the government has reduced the price of petrol by Re0.50 per litre and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs5.31 per litre for the upcoming fortnight.
Additionally, Kerosene oil and light diesel oil (LDO) prices have also decreased. The new pricing is as follows:

The government proceeded to implement price cuts, which followed a prior shift on February 16, 2025, with a Rs1 drop in fuel prices and Rs4 in HSD pricing.
The revised gasoline prices will be in effect for two weeks, in accordance with Pakistan’s usual two-week fuel rate review procedure.
