GuGo Motors has officially announced a substantial GuGo Box EV price drop 2025, reducing prices by Rs1,050,000 across all three of its electric vehicle variants. The announcement comes at a time when confusion remains about which company is legally authorized to sell the GuGo Box EVs in Pakistan.
According to a social media post shared by GuGo Motors, the revised pricing structure now places the E1 Eco variant at Rs5,650,000, down from its original Rs6,700,000. The E2 Plus model is now offered at Rs6,250,000, reduced from Rs7,300,000, while the top-end E3 Premium variant is available for Rs6,650,000—previously priced at Rs7,700,000.
The company clarified that the updated prices under the GuGo Box EV price drop 2025 apply only to limited stock. Bookings are currently open for all three models, with a partial upfront payment of Rs500,000 required to confirm reservations. Deliveries for the booked units are scheduled to begin in April 2025.
However, the pricing update is overshadowed by an ongoing controversy regarding the vehicle’s official launch and distribution in the country. Initially introduced as the “GuGo Box” by GuGo Motors in February 2025, the same compact Chinese EV resurfaced last week as the “Dongfeng Box” under a different distributor—Chawla Group—adding further confusion over branding and distribution rights in Pakistan.
Despite the uncertainties, the price cut may serve as an attractive offer for early adopters looking to invest in an electric vehicle amid rising fuel costs and a growing EV market. The situation remains fluid as consumers await official clarification on the EV’s authorized dealer network in the country.
