Huawei has rolled out the public beta of its latest in-house software, following its earlier announcement in June. The new release brings a refreshed design, smoother animations, and a more customizable lock screen. Huawei says the interface now performs better, offering a faster and more fluid user experience.
A major highlight of the update is the introduction of the XiaoYi personal assistant. This AI-driven helper delivers contextual suggestions and can independently handle a variety of tasks, aiming to make daily phone use more intuitive and efficient.
The software also integrates several AI-powered tools designed to improve usability and system performance. Huawei confirmed that a range of devices will receive the beta update, though the rollout list applies only to users in China. Interested users can register for the beta through the My Huawei app.
Huawei also announced that the closed beta for HarmonyOS 6 will begin later this month.
