HEC Launches Faculty Exchange Program to Boost Pakistani Universities

Published by

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has launched an enhanced Faculty Exchange Program aimed at providing Pakistani university faculty with opportunities to teach and conduct research at leading international universities.

As part of the initiative, international professors from technologically advanced countries will also visit Pakistan to deliver teaching services at local universities. Visiting faculty members are expected to teach for durations ranging from two to sixteen weeks, depending on the program schedule.

Officials noted that the program will also introduce modern courses at undergraduate, master’s, and PhD levels, designed to strengthen academic standards and enhance research collaboration within higher education institutions across Pakistan. The initiative is part of HEC’s broader strategy to promote global academic exposure, faculty development, and knowledge exchange in the country’s higher education sector.
