Here Are the iPhone 18 Series Specs We Know So Far

Published by

Apple’s next iPhones are already taking shape online. Fresh leaks now outline what the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a new iPhone Fold could bring when they arrive in September. If these rumored specs prove accurate, Apple may be preparing one of its biggest hardware shifts in years.

iPhone 18 Pro

The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to feature a 6.3-inch display with a smaller Dynamic Island and a brighter panel. Face ID will likely stay, and the phone may measure 7.8mm or slightly thicker. Reports suggest Apple will use an aluminum frame this time.

Inside, the device could run on the new A20 Pro chip paired with 12GB RAM. That combination would push performance further, especially for gaming and AI tasks. Camera upgrades also appear significant. The front camera may jump to 24MP.

On the back, Apple is rumored to include a 48MP Wide camera with variable aperture, alongside 48MP Ultra Wide and 48MP Telephoto sensors.

Connectivity may rely on Apple’s C2 modem and a new N2 chip. Battery capacity is tipped to reach 4,252mAh or more. The starting price is rumored at $1,099, with a September release window.

iPhone 18 Pro Max

The iPhone 18 Pro Max could follow a similar formula but with a larger 6.9-inch display. It may keep the smaller Dynamic Island, brighter screen, Face ID, and aluminum build. Thickness could remain around 7.8mm or slightly higher.

Performance should mirror the Pro model, with the A20 Pro chip and 12GB RAM. Camera hardware may also stay identical, including the 24MP front camera and three 48MP rear sensors. However, battery size may increase to 5,088mAh or more. Pricing is expected to begin at $1,199.

iPhone Fold

Then there is the iPhone Fold. This device could mark Apple’s first serious step into the foldable market. Leaks suggest a 5.3-inch outer display and a 7.7-inch inner screen. The inner display may have no visible crease, which would be a major technical win.

Instead of Face ID, Apple may bring back Touch ID for the foldable model. The device could measure just 4.5mm thick when unfolded. Reports point to a titanium and aluminum build for added strength.

The iPhone Fold may run on the same A20 Pro chip with 12GB RAM. It could feature a 24MP outer front camera and a 24MP under-display front camera inside. The rear setup may include a 48MP Wide and a 48MP Ultra Wide lens.

Battery capacity is rumored to be between 5,400mAh and 5,800mAh. Pricing could start above $2,000, making it the most expensive iPhone yet. Like the other models, it is expected to launch in September.

Apple has not confirmed any of these details. Still, the leaks suggest bigger batteries, stronger chips, and a bold move into foldables.
