Hinopak Motors Announces Leadership Change with New CEO Appointment

Published by

Hinopak Motors Limited has announced a major leadership transition with the appointment of Tomohiro Oshita as its new Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective February 1, 2026, as disclosed in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). The development marks a key shift at one of Pakistan’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers.

According to the company’s official filing, Tomohiro Oshita will take over the role following the departure of outgoing CEO Takayuki Kizawa, who is set to step down on January 31, 2026, after completing his tenure. The appointment was approved by Hinopak’s Board of Directors.

In its notice, the company stated that the leadership change is part of its ongoing governance and management strategy to strengthen operational efficiency and long-term growth.

Hinopak Motors holds a strong position in Pakistan’s truck and bus manufacturing sector, supplying vehicles for public transport, logistics, and infrastructure development. Industry observers believe that changes in top leadership at Hinopak often influence local production volumes, employment trends, and the broader automotive supply chain, especially amid evolving market conditions.

The appointment of a Japanese executive also reflects the continued technical and managerial collaboration between Pakistani and Japanese automotive partners
