Homegrown Startups Shine At Nic Islamabad Investors Summit 2025

The NIC Islamabad Investors Summit 2025 brought together Pakistan’s leading investors and venture capitalists at the National Incubation Center (NIC) Islamabad, where homegrown startups showcased groundbreaking innovations designed to solve real-world problems and drive national progress.

Organized by the Ministry of IT & Telecom and Ignite, the summit featured exclusive pitches from NIC Islamabad startups, including EZGyser, Pani Express, Chrio, EKKO, EPO, EMR, Carboncap, Your Munshi, and Bio Nano. The event served as a platform for connecting visionary entrepreneurs with investors shaping Pakistan’s startup ecosystem.

One of the most talked-about innovations at the NIC Islamabad Investors Summit 2025 was EZGyser, a smart, energy-efficient geyser system addressing Pakistan’s long-standing challenge of accessing hot water during winter. With frequent power outages and soaring gas prices, EZGyser offers a safe, affordable, and sustainable solution for households.

Another standout startup, Pani Express, is tackling Pakistan’s unreliable urban water supply system. Through a tech-driven platform, it ensures transparent, timely, and reliable water delivery to households that depend on informal tanker services, improving overall urban living conditions.

In the sports-tech sector, Chrio drew significant investor interest with its AI-powered cricket broadcasting solution. By automating real-time video analysis and rendering, Chrio eliminates the need for expensive broadcast setups, making advanced analytics accessible for all levels of cricket matches.

The summit also hosted an interactive panel discussion titled “The Deal Room: What Would It Take for Us to Write a Check Today?”, where top investors shared insights on what makes startups investment-ready.

The judging panel included Abaiz Bin Abdullah (Fatima Gobi Ventures), Kamil Aziz (Zayn VC), Sumraiz (Indus VC), Usman Khalid (GroundUp), Moiz Waseem (sAi Ventures), Nayab Baber (PSF), Qamar Malik (Pak Angels), Janine Rohwer (German Embassy), Kabri Naqvi (Abhi Micro Finance), Quratulain Chaudhary (MMBL), Haris Shah (Abhi Micro Finance), Sikandar Khan (22Ventures), and others.

Abaiz Bin Abdullah praised the quality of innovation emerging from NIC Islamabad, saying the showcased startups reflected “deep relevance to Pakistan’s realities” and have the potential to transform entire industries.
