Honda City Sales Jump 305% in Pakistan in Sept 2025

In a major rebound for Pakistan’s auto industry, Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited reported a significant sales recovery in September 2025, with total units sold rising 115% month-on-month, according to data from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA).
After months of sluggish sales due to inflation and import restrictions, Pakistan’s car market is showing early signs of recovery. Honda, one of the leading automakers, has managed to regain momentum, largely driven by strong demand for its popular sedan lineup.
Honda sold 2,308 units in September, up from 1,073 units in August, marking its best monthly performance in recent quarters. The Honda City was the top performer, recording a 305% jump in sales from 414 units to 1,677 units underscoring its strong appeal among Pakistani buyers.
Meanwhile, the Honda Civic saw a modest 5% increase, reflecting stable demand in the premium sedan segment. However, the company’s SUV models faced a decline, with BR-V sales dropping 21% and HR-V down 8%, signaling a temporary slowdown in the SUV category.
A senior auto analyst noted,
“The sharp rise in Honda City sales suggests improved consumer confidence and strong brand loyalty, despite economic headwinds.”
Broader Impact
The uptick in Honda’s performance highlights a potential turnaround in Pakistan’s auto market, supported by easing supply chain challenges and improved production stability. Industry experts expect October and November sales to maintain this momentum if macroeconomic conditions remain stable.
