Honor Reveals Power 2 Launch Date, Teases 10,080mAh Battery

Honor is moving closer to unveiling its next power-focused smartphone. The company has confirmed key design details and specifications for the Power 2. Most notably, the device will feature a massive 10,080mAh battery, positioning it among the largest in its segment.

According to an official Weibo post, Honor will unveil the Power 2 in China on January 5. Alongside the date, the brand revealed the phone’s rear design. The layout closely mirrors the iPhone 17 Pro, signaling a premium visual direction.

The Honor Power 2 adopts a wide rectangular camera module that stretches across the back. Inside the housing, three camera cutouts are clearly visible. The phone will be offered in Rising Sun orange, Magic Night black, and Snow white. The orange shade closely resembles Apple’s recent color choices.

The Power 2 will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset. Honor will sell the device in 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB storage variants. These configurations suggest a focus on performance and heavy usage.

Leaks also point to a strong camera and display setup. The handset is expected to feature a 50MP primary rear camera. It is also rumored to sport a 6.79-inch LTPS AMOLED display, which should support a large viewing area. With its battery size and hardware mix, the Power 2 appears built for endurance-driven users.
