A fresh leak from China suggests that Honor is already moving forward with the next generation. The upcoming device, tentatively called the Honor Win 2, could bring notable upgrades while keeping some key features unchanged.
According to the source, the new model may run on the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset. However, it is expected to use the standard version rather than a Pro variant. Reports indicate that Qualcomm plans to introduce two versions this year. The Pro model will likely act as the true successor to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
In terms of display, the Honor Win 2 could feature a large 6.89-inch QHD+ OLED panel. It may also support a 185Hz refresh rate, which would offer smoother scrolling and gaming. In addition, the device is said to include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for faster and more secure unlocking.
Battery life seems to remain a strong focus. The phone will reportedly carry a massive 10,000 mAh battery. This matches the capacity seen in its predecessor, ensuring long usage without frequent charging.
