The newly added franchise Hyderabad Kingsmen have officially signed Australian batting star Glenn Maxwell for the upcoming 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League.
The hard-hitting batter will join his compatriot Marnus Labuschagne, who was signed earlier this month by the franchise as a direct signing for the new season.
The right-handed batter has featured in several major franchise tournaments, including the Big Bash League, Indian Premier League, The Hundred and Vitality Blast.
Across 502 T20 matches in domestic and franchise cricket, Maxwell has amassed 10,986 runs at a strike rate of 154.16, registering 58 fifties and eight centuries.
He has also claimed 196 wickets in the format, further strengthening his record as one of the most experienced all-rounders in the shortest version of the game.
