The Government of Pakistan has officially altered the taxation structure under the Federal Budget FY 2026-27. Consequently, the authorities increased the sales tax to 25% on applicable vehicles. Because of this government tax policy, Hyundai Nishat Motor (Private) Limited has revised the ex-factory prices of its vehicles.
The company clarified that this is not an internal price increase. Instead, it is a direct result of the new tax regulations. These revised prices officially take effect today, August 12, 2026.
However, the automaker is offering a massive relief window for buyers. To celebrate Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day, Hyundai has launched a limited-time Azadi Promotional Offer.
New Tax Policy Drives the Price Hike
The newly applied 25% sales tax pushes the cost of all premium Hyundai hybrid variants significantly higher. Buyers will now see an average price jump of over 15% across the Elantra, Tucson, and Santa Fe hybrid lineups.
