Industries Save Rs. 12 Billion Through Government’s Discounted Electricity Package

Pakistan’s industrial sector received a total relief of Rs. 12.125 billion under the government-backed discounted electricity package over December 2025 and January 2026. The initiative supports both small and large-scale industries by lowering production costs through cheaper electricity.

Officials highlighted that this effort is intended to stimulate industrial activity while providing cost relief to nearly half of the industrial sector’s consumers.
