WhatsApp is rolling out a new batch of features that make everyday chatting more flexible and easier to manage. The update brings long-requested tools, along with a few smart additions designed to save time.
A key highlight is the ability to use two accounts on the same iPhone. This option was already available on Android, and it has now reached iOS users. Switching between accounts is simple, and the profile picture in the bottom tab clearly shows which account is active. This makes it easier to handle personal and work chats on one device.
The app has also improved cross-platform chat transfers. Users can now move their chat history from iOS to Android more smoothly. This update removes a common pain point for people switching devices.

WhatsApp is also making storage controls more practical. Users can open a chat, tap the name, and go to Manage Storage to find and delete large files. At the same time, it is now possible to clear only media files from a chat while keeping messages safe. This helps free up space without losing important conversations.
Stickers are getting a small but useful upgrade. As users type emojis, the app now suggests matching stickers. With one tap, the emoji can be replaced with a sticker, making chats more engaging.
Meta is also adding more AI tools. Meta AI can now help edit photos directly inside chats before sending, where the feature is available. This keeps the editing process quick and within the app.
Another addition is AI Writing Help, which suggests replies based on the conversation. Even with this feature, WhatsApp says chats remain private. These updates are rolling out gradually and will be available to all users soon.
