The Mix Flip 2 is anticipated to come with a battery capacity ranging between 5,600mAh and 5,700mAh, a substantial increase from the original model’s 4,780mAh battery. This enhancement is designed to add the value of a longer usage time feature to the foldable device where one common drawback is usually reported by users. Also stated new and elegant model will be more portable and a lot more suitable for use due to its lighter weight.
The rear of the Mix Flip 2 will come with a dual-camera configuration. The main camera, which most likely going to be a 50 MP sensor, is said to have a larger 1/1.5-in sensor size to improve low light and general picture quality. The first will be a 16 MP ultra-wide lens with a 1/3.43″ sensor for secondary shooting while the second camera will incorporate a 50 MP ultraviolet lens with 1/2.76″ for versatility. Notably, the telephoto lens from the previous model has been replaced, which may affect users who prefer optical zoom capabilities.
In this model new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite has been integrated to provide higher efficiency hence enhancing the performance of Mix Flip 2 to provide a Seamless user experience. The key foldable LTPO OLED display will feature a “1.5K” resolution and will be 6.85 inches larger for better visualization. The large cover display will remain, Xiaomi may add NFC and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner located in the power button.
Unlike its predecessor, the Mix Flip 2 is expected to come with an IPX8 water resistance rating. Xiaomi will also add wireless charging, making it easier to charge without cables. These changes position the Mix Flip 2 as a promising option for foldable smartphone enthusiasts.
