Islamabad is set to get a new Capital House in F-5, following the Capital Development Authority’s approval of the project’s PC-I. The Rs. 3.2 billion facility will provide centralized government accommodation, modeled after similar provincial houses in Sindh, Punjab, KP, and Balochistan.
The decision was made during a CDA Development Working Party meeting chaired by Muhammad Ali Randhawa, which also cleared mega projects worth over Rs. 83 billion. Officials said the Capital House project will be completed within two years and aims to streamline government offices currently spread across multiple locations.
In addition, the CDA approved a government officers’ residential building costing Rs. 3 billion, featuring 15 floors, and the Rs. 635 million upgrade of the Diplomatic Enclave, scheduled for six months. Chairman Randhawa emphasized timely execution and adherence to quality standards for all approved projects.
