The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) will suspend electricity to multiple feeders across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum and Chakwal circles on Wednesday to carry out maintenance and routine development work.
According to a company spokesperson, in Islamabad Circle, power will be suspended from 5:00 am to 10:00 am to the Tramari, Lehtrar, ISI, Chattha and Rehara feeders.
In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, the Ghazan Khan feeder will lose power from 5:00 am to 10:00 am, while the Kambeli Sadiq feeder will be affected from 6:00 am to 10:00 am.
In Attock Circle, the Wah General Hospital feeder will remain without electricity from 5:00 am to 12:00 pm.
In Jhelum Circle, consumers linked to the City Housing, Sanghoi, Safdar Shaheed, Nathwala, Langarpur, Saeela, Pakhwal and F-9 (Chak Daulat) feeders will face outages from 6:00 am to 10:00 am.
In Chakwal Circle, the Khanpur, Jhand Khan Zada, Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur and CWO feeders will be without power during the same hours.
Separately, the GSO Circle will undergo maintenance from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on the 132kV AWC HMC Taxila and 132kV Sangjani Burhan lines.
Further work will take place from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on the 132kV Chakwal Bhagwal Talagang, 132kV Kahuta City Palandri and 132kV New Wah Bahtermore lines, along with associated earth switches and surrounding installations.
IESCO said it regrets the inconvenience to consumers and confirmed that power will be restored ahead of schedule if maintenance work is completed earlier than planned.
