NexGen Auto has announced a new Battery Protection Sheet for all new Jaecoo J7 vehicles after concerns emerged following a recent incident involving a Jaecoo J7 PHEV in Taobat, Neelum Valley. The company said all Jaecoo J7 units shipped from the factory on or after May 15, 2026, will include the Battery Protection Sheet. NexGen described the move as part of its ongoing efforts to improve vehicle safety and product quality.
At the same time, the company confirmed that existing Jaecoo J7 owners will also receive the upgrade free of cost. According to the official notice, NexGen will start scheduling appointments for current customers from July 1, 2026. The installation process will take place at authorized Omoda and Jaecoo dealerships across the country.
Moreover, customers will be able to book appointments through a QR code. The company said it will publish the code on Omoda Jaecoo social media platforms starting June 10, 2026.
To complete the booking process, customers must upload their vehicle registration details and verify their mobile number through OTP confirmation. They will also need to choose their preferred dealership, along with a suitable installation date and time slot.
NexGen added that customers will receive appointment confirmations on their mobile phones before visiting the dealership for installation.
