Jazz Tops PTA’s Telecom Complaints Chart for September 2025

Jazz once again led the list of telecom operators with the most consumer complaints in September 2025, according to new data from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA). The regulator recorded 1,522 complaints against Jazz, maintaining its position as the most complained-about network.

Telenor ranked second with 953 complaints, while Zong and Ufone followed with 761 and 671 complaints, respectively. PTA’s monthly report showed that the authority received a total of 4,927 complaints from telecom consumers across various operators during the month.

Of these, 4,766 complaints, or 96.73 percent, were resolved, reflecting the regulator’s ongoing focus on service quality and customer satisfaction. The complaints were registered against cellular mobile operators (CMOs), Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), long-distance international (LDI) operators, wireless local loop (WLL) providers, and internet service providers (ISPs).

Since cellular mobile users make up most of Pakistan’s telecom base, the bulk of the grievances came from this category. PTA received 3,930 complaints against CMOs, out of which 3,852 (98.02 percent) were resolved.

Among individual operators, Jazz addressed 1,516 of 1,522 complaints, achieving a resolution rate of 99.61 percent. Telenor resolved 927 of 953 complaints (97.27 percent), while Zong handled 645 of 761 complaints (97.9 percent). Ufone resolved 644 of 671 complaints (95.98 percent), the data showed.

PTA also reported 149 complaints related to basic telephony services, of which 142 were resolved, marking a 95.3 percent resolution rate. Internet service providers faced 805 complaints, resolving 735 cases, or 91.3 percent.
