The government has increased the price of jet fuel by Rs. 9.05 per litre, raising it from Rs. 346.47 to Rs. 355.52 per litre. The revised prices are effective from October 3, 2026.
The price of kerosene has also increased by Rs. 7.68 to Rs. 329.54 per litre. Meanwhile, petrol now costs Rs. 392.76 per litre after a Rs. 2.10 increase, while high-speed diesel has risen by 30 paisa to Rs. 399.64 per litre.
The increase in jet fuel could add to airline operating costs, potentially putting pressure on airfares depending on carriers’ pricing decisions and other expenses.
The latest revision comes amid continued volatility in international oil and refined-product markets. Changes in crude prices, refined-fuel supplies, import costs, and shipping conditions are continuing to influence fuel prices in Pakistan.
