Karachi Kings and Islamabad United Announce Their Direct Signings

Former champions Islamabad United and Karachi Kings have revealed the names of their direct signings for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) ahead of the much-awaited auction.

Three-time champions United have signed star New Zealand batter Devon Conway as their latest overseas addition for the 2026 season, with the deal valued at Rs. 6.30 crore.

The hard-hitting batter will join captain Shadab Khan, Andries Gous, and Salman Irshad in the list of retained stars ahead of the PSL 11 player auction scheduled for February 11.

Meanwhile, Karachi Kings have confirmed the signing of experienced England all-rounder Moeen Ali for Rs. 6.44 crore under the direct signing mechanism for HBL PSL 11.

The franchise added that the seasoned all-rounder will be part of their squad as they prepare for the league’s 11th edition, which will feature an auction-based player draft for the first time.

Earlier, the former champions retained four key players with Hasan Ali in Platinum, Abbas Afridi in Diamond, Khushdil Shah in Gold, and Saad Baig in Emerging.

PSL 11 introduces a new team-building approach, replacing the old draft with an auction, as franchises reinforce squads through retained players and direct signings before the bidding begins.
