Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) is soon going to establish an Information Technology Park (IT) in University of Peshawar. The aim is to expose the university students to numerous opportunities that Information Technology entails. This Park will not only improve the standard of education but will also encourage students to translate innovate ideas into existence.
The decision was taken at University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar meeting on Tuesday. Shahram Tarakai, Senior Minister of KPITB, was present at the meeting. The idea will be put forth to senate of the university for final approval.
The construction of IT Park at University premises can bring out a new wave of innovate startups, projects and skilled individuals from the university which will improve the economic state of the country.
